Bob Bauer, longtime decades Detroit radio personality at radio stations WLLZ-FM, WCSX-FM, WABX-FM and others, has passed away, as reported by the Detroit Free Press, today.

Bob Bauer was 63.

  1. What a loss for the broadcast community. Them was the good ole days.
    Bob and the all the other hot DJ’s of that time will always be tops in my book!

  2. Bob helped give food to people for years. I can’t even begin to imagine how many people were helped out because of him. Whenever I did a traffic report for him, he was always kind and would ask how I was doing. You were a good guy, Bob. Thanks for all the good you did for us here in Detroit! We will miss you but you ran your race and you won. God rest your soul.
