That photo would have to be from around the summer of 1964 if the Supremes in the background are performing “live.” You can see that Florence Ballard (left) and Mary Wilson (right) are wearing the dresses with the red sequin bodices and red fringed skirts that the group began wearing often during performances around the time that “Where Did Our Love Go” became a hit in August 1964. Even the shape of their wigs suggest that era of ’64. Thanks to you (and Lee Alan) for sharing a great shot!

    1. Thank you Dan for your detailed observations on the photo! I really was not sure who the female group on stage in the Lee Alan photo you stated was the Supremes but I realized this was probably circa around 1963. But I will change the year to 1964. We can do that. Thanks again Dan!
