A Word Regarding Our Latest WordPress 4.4 Upgrade
With apologies — the ‘Motown Mondays’ features on Motor City Radio Flashbacks will be temporarily on hold, and this will also apply to any NEW external audio features you’ve enjoyed listening to on this website as well, such as THIS, THIS, and also THIS.
All other MCRFB.COM internal audio features pre-loaded initially through the website’s Bluehost server, such as airchecks, commercials, whether now saved in feature ‘drafts’ or otherwise (prior January 14, 2016) is not affected by the WP 4.4 upgrade change.
Unfortunately, the new 4.4 upgrade is a far departure (4.4 with it’s now paltry 2 mb max!) for uploads from the previous WordPress 4.0 (which had a very generous 50 mb max) for media and audio postings on the website. This site had used the previous 4.0 version since 09/2014, until now.
Upgraded on 01/14/16, technical changes to increase WP 4.4 version’s 2 mb limit for larger media file uploads will now be required. And it can be done.
MCRFB.COM will resume its ‘Motown Monday’ features, and all new media uploads on hold here – temporarily – as soon as the required technical adjustments can be completed as quickly as we possibly can. — J.F.
